The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) to the NTA from 2019 onwards.

 

JEE (Main) comprises of two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 of JEE (Main) is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.

 

For Academic Session 2025-26, it has been decided that the JEE (Main) — 2025 will be conducted in two Sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2025) and Session 2 (April 2025). The details for the Session 1 (January 2025) are given below:

JEE (Main) - 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

• A candidate can apply for Session-1 (January 2025) examination and pay the exam fee accordingly. The candidates will be given opportunity to apply for Session-2 (April 2025) separately (using same application number) along with the fee payment, for which separate notification will be issued.
• If a candidate wishes to apply for Session 2 (April 2025), the candidate can log in and pay the Examination Fee for Session 2 during that period. If candidate wishes to apply only for Session-2 (April 2025), he can register later, when application form for Session-2 (April 2025) is active.
• The application window for Session 2 will be re-opened as per the details available in the Information Bulletin and will also be notified separately through a Public Notice.

* For Paper 1 and Part-I of Paper 2, each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers in both Section A and Section B.

Important Instructions:

1. Candidates can apply for JEE (Main) - 2025 Session 1 through the "Online" mode only through the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
2. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Under no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled more than one Application Form.
3. Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
4. Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians' only as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.

AP NMMS 2024-2 ELIGIBILITY: A candidate who has/is

(i) Scored at least 55% of marks in case of OC/BC and 50% of marks in case of SC/ST or equivalent grade i.e., B+ for all categories in class VII Examination studied during the year 2023-24.

(ii) Studying in Government, Local Body (ZP/Municipal), Government Aided, AP Model (day scholars only) and MPUP (Running 8th class) schools only.

(iii) Whose parental annual income (both Parents put together) is below Rs.3,50,000/- from all sources for which candidates have to produce latest original Annual Income Certificate issued by the MRO, in case of Private employee and certificate issued by the employer in case of Government employee.

(iv) Candidate has to submit the original caste certificate and also Income certificate (issued by the MRO) to the Headmaster.

AP NMMS 2024-25 FEE:

Examination fee is Rs.100/- for OC and BC students & Rs. 50/- for SC and ST students. The examination fee has to be paid through SBI Collect only (follow user guide available in website www.bse.ap.gov.in).

AP NMMS 2024-25 Due Dates, Schedule:

 NMMS SCHEME:

1. The Ministry for Human Resource Development, Government of India has launched centrally sponsored National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS). Under this scheme an examination will be conducted and selected candidates will get the scholarship.
2. Every year 1,00,000 students will be selected throughout India. Out of which 4087 scholarships are being allotted to Residuary Andhra Pradesh and have been distributed among the districts basing on enrollment in VII & VIII Classes and Child population for each academic year.
3. The Director of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada is conducting NMMS examination from August 2008.
4. This examination is conducted every year in the month of November for the students who are studying VIII class in Government / Local Body / Municipal / Aided Schools / Model Schools (without Residential Facility).
5. The beneficiaries are being selected basing on the merit and as per the reservation norms followed by the state.

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION

MAT	• 90 Multiple Choice Questions. • 90 Marks & Each question carries one mark. • No negative marking
SAT	• 90 Multiple Choice Questions • 90 Marks Covering social science, science and mathematics of class VII & VIII.   Each question carries one mark • No negative marking.

 

Duration for both MAT and SAT is 180 Minutes

QUALIFYING PERCENTAGE:

1) GEN, BC & PH: 40% (36 MARKS)

2) SC & ST: 32% (29 MARKS)

NOTE: The student must Qualify both the tests i.e., Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) with at least 40% marks in aggregate taken together for these two tests.

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT:

1. 1.The selected student shall receive a sum of Rs. 12,000/- per annum for which the selected student shall have to open a joint Savings Bank Account with their parents in any S.B.I or in any Nationalized Bank which has core banking facility/ESC facility. Accounts other than Savings bank will be rejected at the time of disbursement of Scholarship.

Information can be obtained from the concerned School Head Master/ District Educational Officer. The application forms should be uploaded online in the website "www.bse.ap.gov.in". PAT 2024 Result Professional Advancement Test Result 2024 released by BSEAP

The results of PAT Examinations which were conducted on 03/03/2024 are hereby released. A total number of 674 candidates have appeared for the Examination out of which 439 candidates have passed the Examination. The Pass percentage is 84.91%. Online applications are invited for admission to class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas through Selection Test for the session 2025-26.

Eligibility:

• Candidates who have passed class V before the session 2024-25 or repeater candidates are not eligible to apply. NVS has the right to compare the application data of previous year(s) to identify the repeater candidates. If noticed, admission of such candidates will not be allowed to JNVs through JNVST 2025. 
• A candidate seeking admission must not have been born before 01-05-2013 and after 31-07-2015 (Both dates are inclusive). 

Reservation:

• At least 75% Seats in a district will be filled by candidates from rural areas.
• Reservation for SC, ST, OBC and Divyang candidates as per Govt. Norms.
• Minimum ¹/3 of the seats are reserved for girl students.

Procedure to register online for JNV Selection Test 2025: 

• The process for submission of application for JNV Selection Test has been simplified through online process. Registration can be done free of cost through the admission portal of NVS linked through https://navodaya.gov.in 
• Candidates & parents have to go through the notification cum prospectus and ensure the fulfillment of eligibility criteria. 
• The following documents in soft form (JPG format of size between 10 to 100 kb) may be kept ready for registration: Certificate verified by the Head Master mentioning the details of candidate in the prescribed format, Photograph, Signature of parent, Signature of candidate, Aadhaar details/ Residence certificate issued by competent Government authority. 
• Basic details of candidate like State, District, Block, Aadhaar number, PEN number etc. are to be filled in the application portal.
• The eligible candidates have to fill up the online form and upload the verified certificate with the photograph along with signatures of both candidate and his/her parent. The verification of the information provided by the parent in the certificate will be done by the Head Master of the School where the candidate is studying in class V. The certificate should be uploaded in jpg format of the size between10-100 kb only. 

Navodaya 6th Entrance Test JNVST 2025 Instructions for the candidates: 

• The process of submission of online application involves only single stage. 
• The reservations to the OBC candidates shall be implemented as per Central List. The OBC candidates not included in Central list should apply as General Candidate. 
• Keep the following scanned copies ready before start filling the application in JPG Format Only. Candidate's signature. (Size of signature should be between 10-100 kb.) Parent's signature. (Size of signature should be between 10-100 kb.) Candidate's photograph. (Size of image should be between 10-100 kb.) 
• Certificate signed by parent & candidate and verified by Headmaster. (Size of image should be between 50-300 kb.) 
• Residence Certificate of the parent Issued by competent Government Authority if candidate does not possess Aadhaar Number

AP RGUKT IIIT Selection List 2024 (Merit List) seat allotment orders released for six-year integrated Bachelor’s of Technology (BTech) on July 11, 2024. Candidates who have applied to get admission will be able to check it by visiting the official website at https://admissions24.rgukt.in/.

AP RGUKT IIIT 2024 Eligibility for admission:

1. Candidates should have passed SSC (10th class) or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Governments of A.P. State & Telangana State/ CBSE/ICSE conducted in 2024 in First attempt. 
2. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. The candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
3. Candidates from other than AP and Telangana states are only eligible for Supernumerary seats.
4. International students shall be of Indian Nationality / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

Rule of Reservation:

a. Admission to 85% of total available seats shall be reserved for ‘local candidates’(Andhra Pradesh) and the remaining 15% of the seats are open to the students of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014.

b. The rule of reservation for different categories are as under in both local and unreserved categories, subject to any changes and amendments made by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

SC - 15%, ST - 6%, BC-A - 7%, BC-B - 10%, BC-C - 1%, BC-D - 7%, BC-E - 4%, Physically Handicapped (PH) - 3%, Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) - 2%, NCC -1% and Sports - 0.5%.

c. A horizontal reservation of 33 1/3 % of seats in favor of girl candidates in each category (OC/SC/ST/BC/Special Categories) shall be ensured, wherever girl candidates are available.

d. In case of PH candidates, certificates issued by the State Medical Board alone are For Sports and CAP categories, certificates issued by the respective District Boards are acceptable. In case of CAP category G.O Ms. No. 59 Home (services IV) Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh dated 16-5-2018 will be considered. CAP reservation is applicable at AP state-level.

e. In case of Sports & Games category in respect of MS.NO.10 Dated: 15-7-2008 of Youth advancement Tourism & Culture (Sports) Department will be considered.

f. 10% supernumerary reservation to the Economically Weaker Sections as per the AP State Government Norms. Candidates should produce latest EWS certificate (note earlier than 2021) issued by the competent authority.

g. Any other reservation issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time shall be followed for admissions.

h. Since the courses offered are technical in nature and require appropriate physical fitness, RGUKT reserves the right of rejecting the application of such candidates who is declared by the experts as physically unfit to pursue the course.

i. Sample proformas (Annexures) to obtain relevant certificates for claiming reservations under various special categories are available in the University website rgukt.in

AP RGUKT IIIT 2024 Selection Method:

a. Admission to two years PUC and four years B.Tech Program (2024-25) will be based on marks obtained in SSC or equivalent examination conducted in 2024 and Guidelines issued by the Governing Council of RGUKT from time to time. In case of students studied in Government Schools, a deprivation score of 4% will be added to the marks of scored by the candidates in each subject in SSC/Equivalent examination conducted in 2024. In case of boards declare results in grades, an equivalency factor recommended by the Governing Council of RGUKT will be used to convert grades in to marks. The decision of RGUKT is final in this regard.

In case of any modification in the marks after reverification, the scanned copy of revised marks memo needs to be sent to the admissions@rgukt.in email on or before 31st June 2024 up to 5.00 p.m. Marks will be updated to those candidates who sends the revised marks copy to the above-mentioned mail on time. RGUKT is not responsible for late submission of revised marks..

b. Details in latest application will be considered in case of multiple applications

 c) In case of a tie in the marks, the following procedure will be followed to resolve the

• i. Higher marks in Mathematics
• ii. Higher marks in General Science
• iii. Higher marks in English
• iv. Higher marks in Social Studies
• v. Higher marks in 1st Language
• vi. Elder candidate as per the Date of Birth
• vii. Lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number.

If the tie is resolved with any of the checks in the chronological order mentioned above, the next option(s) will not be considered.

d) The rules and guidelines issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh/Governing Council of RGUKT from time to time shall be followed for admissions.

e) Details filled by the candidates in online application will be considered for selection. RGUKT is not responsible for wrong entries.

f) If reservation under BC/SC/ST/EWS is not claimed by the candidate in the online application, he/she will be considered under Open Category for selection. RGUKT is not responsible for not claiming reservation and special categories in online application.

g) Campus will be allotted based on the merit in the SSC/Equivalent examination conducted in 2023 and rule of reservation. While filling the online application, candidates are advised to enter their preferred campus according to their priority. RGUKT is not responsible for any wrong entry as far as campus preference is concerned.

h) In no case, internal transfer of candidates is permitted. Students have to study in the campus where they are admitted.

Intimation to Selected Candidates:

1. The list of provisionally selected candidates for counseling will be displayed on the University website rgukt.in.
2. Candidates will also be informed through E-mail and SMS to the mobile numbers and email ids entered in the online application form. RGUKT is not responsible for not reaching the information by E-mail/SMS message due to wrong Email and mobile numbers entered in the online application form.
3. It is the responsibility of the candidate to check the University website rgukt.in frequently for his/her selection and relevant updates relating to admissions.

Admission of students from other States and International Students:

1. Supernumerary seats to the extent of 25% are available to students belonging to States other than Andhra Pradesh & Telangana including the children of Indians working in Gulf Countries / International and NRI students. Admission will be on the basis of merit in the 10^th class examination.
2. Tuition fee for students other than AP and Telangana states is Rs.1,50,000/- per
3. The tuition fee for International / NRI students is Rs.3, 00,000/- per annum.
4. Students should pay monthly mess charges to the University (approximately 2,500 to Rs.3,000 per month).

Note: University reserves the right to cancel the admission of any student if it is found now or later that he/she secured admission by giving false information of any kind.

Attention Applicants, It has come to our notice that some students' names have been listed under special. This might be due to incorrect selections made during the application filling. Key Instructions: 

1. No Certificate, No Verification:

If you do not belong to any special category and your name appears on the list, you are not required to attend the certificate verification process. 

Students whose names appeared in the list and cannot produce the required special category certificates should not get panic; they will be considered under the general selection process. 

2. Forgot to Mention Special Category in Filled Application: 

If you have a valid special category certificate but did not mention it during your application, you can still attend the verification process. Ensure you do this on the day designated for your respective category's verification. Please make sure to follow these guidelines to avoid any confusion during the verification process.

APEAPCET-2024 ADMISSIONS (M.P.C. STREAM) DETAILED NOTIFICATION FOR WEB BASED COUNSELLING

The Qualified and eligible candidates of APEAPCET-2024, desirous of seeking admission into B.E/B.Tech Courses are informed that the web counseling process comprising payment of processing fee cum registration, online certificate verification and option entry will be conducted from 23.07.2024 to 25.07.2024. The candidates are instructed to follow guidelines/Instructions to candidates or user manual to proceed for web counseling process.

Qualified and eligible Candidates of APEAPCET-2024 who have participated in first phase Counseling are informed to exercise their options afresh for the leftover seats now available and consequential vacancies that may arise in the process of allotment, additional seats available in new colleges/courses, if any, from any Help Line Centre or Internet facility (Café/Home) as per the schedule given below. These candidates need not pay the processing fee once again. The candidates who have not participated in first phase are directed to get their certificates verified in this final phase as per the schedule given below.

The qualified and eligible candidates of APEAPCET-2024(M.P.C. Stream) are informed to participate in web counseling for the seats available in (i) University & Private Engineering Colleges and Private Universities under Convenor quota in the State of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2024-25.

 Registration and Payment of Processing fee:

• All the candidates who have not paid processing fee in first phase web counseling can pay from 2307.2024 using https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The following is the procedure to pay the processing fee.
• Open the website using https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and click on EAPCET-2024 ADMISSIONS
• Then click on Registration form link
• Candidate can enter into Registration form by using “EAPCET Hall Ticket No” and “Date of Birth”
• Registration form with all the basic information is displayed, verify all the details.
• If no mistakes found, accept the declaration and candidate will be directed to processing fee payment gateway.
• If any mistake found in the information provided, candidate can use the provision to make changes by selecting the option “Yes” from the drop down box provided before the declaration and click on submit button, which will direct the candidate to make any corrections to rectify the mistakes using suitable data with relevant document proofs to be uploaded through online. Then accept the declaration and candidate will be directed to processing fee payment gateway.
• The processing fee for web counseling is Rs.1200/- (for OC/BC) and Rs. 600/- (for SC/ST). The candidates are instructed to pay through online by credit card/ debit card/net banking etc in web site https://sche.ap.gov.in.
• All the candidates from 1 to Last Rank can pay the processing fee from 01.07.2024 to 07.07.2024 using URL https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
• Once the payment is success click on print button and take a print out.

Verification of Certificates (Online):

CASE-1: (certificates were already verified through web services, no change required in the data)

The candidates are informed to note that if the certificates were already verified through web services from the respective board/agencies based on the information furnished by the candidate while applying for EAPCET-2024 i.e., Common Entrance Test. i.e the candidates whose certificate data is already verified online through web services, they are directed pay the processing fee cum registration and can verify the details of candidate (personal, academic and other details) for the correctness. If the candidates are satisfied for data available, they need not upload any certificates. Further they are directed to proceed for exercise options as per the schedule.

CASE-2: (certificates were already verified through web services, if change required in the data)

The candidates whose certificate data is already verified through web services but candidate wishes to change the data, then candidate has to upload relevant certificates for online verification. After the verification of data by online by the verification officers, then the candidates have to ascertain the status of eligibility by using verification status link. If they are eligible they can proceed for exercise options as per the schedule. In case of any clarification, they can visit nearest Help Line Centre.

CASE-3: (Candidates whose data is not verified through online)

In respect of candidates whose data is not verified, such candidates have to upload documents for online verification by choosing notified HLCs. After the verification of data by online by the verification officers, then the candidates have to ascertain the status of eligibility by using verification status link. If they are eligible they can proceed for exercise options as per the schedule. In case of any clarification, they can visit nearest Help Line Centre.

Candidates are informed that the verification of certificates viz SSC marks memo, Intermediate marks memo, VI class to intermediate study certificates, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate/Ration Card, Economically Weaker section (EWS) certificate, Physically Challenged Certificate, Residence Certificate have to be verified by the counseling authorities. But the candidates are required upload only required documents only.

NOTE1: In the above three cases candidates need not go to Help Line Centers After completion of registration Click on “Verification Status”

The candidates whose certificates are not verified online will be displayed a message “candidate is not eligible or certificate verification is in progress” then such candidates should have uploaded documents in the process of registration. The uploaded certificates shall be verified by the concerned Help Line center authorities and decide the If candidate is eligible then candidates have to proceed to option entry as per the schedule given in the notification.

Certificates required for Web Counselling

The candidates are requested to keep the following certificates before proceeding for Online Web Counselling.

All original Certificates and two sets of Xerox copies

• APEAPCET-2024 Rank card.
• APEAPCET-2024 Hall Ticket.
• Memorandum of Marks (Inter or its equivalent).
• Proof of Date of Birth (SSC or its Equivalent Memo).
• Transfer Certificate ( T.C)
• Study Certificate from VI to Intermediate
• EWS certificate valid for the year 2024-25 from MeeSeva/APSeva for OC candidates who want to claim reservation under EWS category
• Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the Qualifying examination i.e. Inter or its equivalent in respect of Private candidates.
• Andhra Pradesh Residence Certificate of father/mother for a period of 10 years excluding the period of employment outside Andhra Pradesh from Tahsildar in respect of Non-Local candidates.
• Integrated Community Certificate, in case of BC/ST/SC issued by the competent authority.
• Income certificate of parents from all sources issued on or after 01.01.2021 or Rice Ration card (candidate name and either of the parents name have to be reflected in the ration card) those who claim tuition fee reimbursement)
• Local status certificate (if applicable) i.e a candidate who migrates to any part of the state of Andhra Pradesh from the state of Telangana from 02-June-2014 to on/before 01-June­2024 shall be regarded as the local candidate in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Exercising the options in the final phase counseling:

1) The following category of candidates can exercise options in the final phase counseling.

The Candidates-

1. Who has secured seat but not shown interest to join in the allotted seat.
2. Who have not secured seats so far, but got their certificates verified. 
3. Who have not exercised the options so far, but got their certificates verified.
4. Who have secured seats, reported and aspiring for a better option.
5. Who have reported/Not reported but cancelled their allotment.
6. Who have attended for certificate verification as per the above schedule.

2) Options given in the 1^st Phase will not be considered for this final Phase of counseling for allotment of a seat and candidates have to exercise options afresh.

3) Candidates who are satisfied with their previous allotment need not exercise option once again. They shall note that if they exercise options now and a seat is allotted as per the options, the vacated seat will be allotted to next meritorious candidate and hence they will have no claim on the previous allotment.

4) It is advised to exercise options for interested colleges/courses assuming that vacancies would arise in all colleges in the process of sliding.
