4. Aadhaar Saturation Report received from UIDAI,RO dated:05.07.2024.

It is to inform that Aadhaar has emerged as the most widely accepted proof of identity with a provision to identify residents with biometric authentication. Aadhaar is now being used to avail numerous Government services by residents. In order to avail these services, the residents should update their document details with the UIDAI. Accordingly Aadhaar has developed new feature / Service, “update document” 49,83,561Mandatory biometric updates and 1,36,17,047 Document updates are pending in the State. To achieve 100% Mandatory biometric updates and New Enrollments (age 0-5) and document updates, it is proposed to conduct Aadhaar special Camps at Secretariats, School & College and Anganwadi centre by the Aadhaar Operators (PS-VI DAs/WEDPSs).

The GVWV & VSWS Department decided to conduct Aadhaar Special camp from 23.07.2024 to 27.07.2024 to complete all the pending Mandatory biometric updates and New Enrollments (age 0-5) and Document Updates at Secretariats, Schools& College and Anganwadi centre.

 In this regard, All the District Collectors are requested to issue necessary following instructions to the MPDOs/ Municipal Commissioners for updating the maximum number of Mandatory biometric updates and New Enrollments (age 0-5) and document updates:

1. The MPDO/ Municipal Commissioners shall map Secretariats for conduct of Aadhaar Special camp from 23.07.2024 to 27.07.2024and issue necessary instructions to the Aadhaar Operators and PSs/ WASs.
2. They shall create necessary awareness among the public about the Aadhaar Special camp.
3. The PS/ WAS of all the scheduled Secretariats along with the Aadhaar Operators (PS-VI DA/ WEDPS)shall ensure that all the Hardware Devices are in working condition, and publicize such that there is maximum footfall for the camp.
4. It is requested to mobilize citizens and ensure maximum Mandatory biometric updates and New Enrollments (age 0-5) and document updates in the scheduled Secretariats, Schools & College and Anganwadi Centre premises.
5. The MPDOs / Municipal Commissioners are requested to make necessary In-Charge arrangements while Aadhaar Operators are deputed for conduct of Mobile Camps and ensure not to effect delivery of services.
6. MPDOs/MCs shall allot 2 Secretariat staff to each Aadhaar operator during the camp for assisting in filling and verifying the documents.
7. District Collectors are requested to exempt the Panchayat Secretary (Grade-VI) Digital Assistants /WEDPS and other staff deputed for Aadhaar special camps from other duties.
8. If any expenditure is incurred for the transportation of hardware devices for conducting the mobile camp, an amount of Rs. 500 will be released for above 100 enrollments/updates during the camp and Rs. 1000 will be released for above 200 enrollments/updates during the This amount given to the Aadhaar Operators (Panchayat Secretary (Grade-VI) Digital Assistant/WEDPS) by the GVWV & VSWS Department.

Hence it is requested to mobilize citizens through I &PR, local cable networks and ensure maximum Mandatory biometric updates and New Enrollments (age 0-5) and Document Updates in the scheduled Secretariats, School & College and Anganwadi centre premises. The MPDOs / Municipal Commissioners are requested to make necessary In-charge arrangements while Aadhaar Operators are deputed for conduct of Mobile Camps and ensure not to effect delivery of services.
